MERYL GITTER MICHON

Meryl Gitter Michon is an award-winning television producer, director, and writer specializing in biographical and historical documentaries. She began her career at ABC News where she learned the art of the interview from the incomparable Barbara Walters. Her work includes dozens of Biographies for A&E and Intimate Portraits for Lifetime. With a passion for music, she has profiled the lives and careers of Garth Brooks, Reba McEntire, The Judds, Bon Jovi, Pat Benatar, Phil Spector, Elvis Presley, Lisa Marie Presley, Rod Stewart, Clive Davis and Tupac Shakur. And for People Profiles, a special series for CNN, she documented the lives of Christopher Reeve and Jim Henson.

 

Recent credits include the CBS and Paramount+ special “The Gift: Kindness Goes Viral,” ABC News' "The Year with Robin Roberts", the ABC Docuseries "1969," and the FOX Special "O.J. Simpson: The Lost Confession." Additional documentaries and specials have aired on Discovery, History, MTV, Nickelodeon, TLC, Court TV and National Geographic.  

 

Meryl received a 2019 Front Page Award for Special Reporting. Other awards include the duPont-Columbia, Peabody and Emmy.

JON MEYERSOHN

Jon Meyersohn is a veteran broadcast journalist and filmmaker. He was a producer and senior producer at ABC News for more than two decades. His work has taken him all over the world, and he has worked closely with major network anchors including Dan Rather, Peter Jennings, Diane Sawyer and Barbara Walters.  He has interviewed celebrities, presidents, and other political and cultural leaders. 

 

Over the past seven years, Jon has executive produced and directed series, among others, on the deep roots of 9/11 (The Road to 9/11); the worldwide effects of climate change (Years of Living Dangerously); the growth of QAnon (The Search for Q); and the roots of Donald Trump’s political career (The Trump Dynasty). He is passionate about storytelling and has a track record for delivering stories and series on budget and on deadline.  

 

Jon’s work has appeared on CBS News, ABC News, Paramount+, Hulu, A&E, History and VICE, among other networks and streaming services. His work has won multiple awards.
